Sustainability at Cornerstone
Growing greener together
At Cornerstone Nurseries, sustainability is about so much more than recycling. It’s about caring for our environment, supporting our local community and helping children develop a lifelong love of looking after our planet.
Every day, our children learn through nature, gardening, outdoor play, recycling projects and community initiatives that show how even small actions can make a big difference.

How families can get involved
We believe sustainability works best when nursery and home work together.
Throughout the year we invite families to join in with:
- Monthly Green Challenges
- Recycling and collection drives
- Swap shops for clothes, toys and books
- Gardening and wildlife activities
- Home sustainability ideas and simple eco swaps
- Community volunteering opportunities
Every challenge is designed to be fun, practical and achievable for the whole family.
Looking ahead
We’re continually building on our achievements by expanding outdoor learning, supporting biodiversity, working with local businesses and encouraging families to help create a greener future for our community and appreciate any and all support along the journey!
