Our smaller sister nursery in Basingstoke is a secure, welcoming and comfortable home from home for your child and we are proud of the nourishing, caring haven we have created.
At Cornerstone Miss Muffet, we believe in a gentle and nurturing approach to play and learning. We aim to create a home-like atmosphere, where children can explore and learn at their own pace.
With space for 43 children on a daily basis, this setting offers calm and quiet for little ones that may feel overwhelmed in a larger setting and is perfect for those first independent steps outside of the family home. This lovely setting is based in Popley and is within walking distance to Sherborne Fields, Marnel Park and Rooksdown.
Our playrooms are spacious and open-plan, offering a variety of activities for children to explore. From mark making and role play to maths, literacy, and messy play, there’s something for everyone. We also provide quiet areas for reading or relaxation
Outside we have a lovely garden space to enjoy spending time in, whatever the weather, including our own herb garden and pumpkin patch!
Nurturing Connections: Building Community Through Our Intergenerational Program
Our children have formed a special bond with the residents of Abbey & Magnolia Court through our ‘Intergenerational Program.’ We regularly visit these local residential homes for arts and crafts activities, fostering connections between young and old. This program has been running for over 6 years, bringing joy and enrichment to both groups. As a result, our children are often invited to Abbey Court for birthdays, farm animal visits, and other special occasions.
The Magic Of ‘Woodland Adventures’ And The Joy of Connecting With The Natural World
We are also fortunate to have a strong partnership with St. Bede’s School, located next door to our nursery. Our children regularly visit their beautiful wooded area for ‘Woodland Adventures,’ where they can explore nature and connect with the environment.
Our Dedicated Team Is Always Available To Assist You. They Have A Deep Understanding Of The EYFS And Our Policies And Procedures.

Our staff are paediatric first aid qualified and we ensure there are always first aiders on site. We are committed to ongoing professional development, offering our team opportunities for growth and learning.
