Cornerstone Day Nursery Fees
Based at Priestley Road, Basingstoke with walking distance to Basingstoke & North Hampshire Hospital, Rooksdown, Sherborne Fields, Merton Rise, Chapel Gate & Winklebury.

- A full day includes breakfast (pre 8.45am), a healthy morning snack, a hot lunch and afternoon tea.
- Sessions can be extended at a cost of £6.60 per hour (subject to availability).
- Funded session meals are priced at £2.00 for Breakfast, £3.25 for Lunch & £2.75 for Tea.
- Children attending for funded hours only will be charged £1.35 per half day & £1.80 per full day consumables charge for snacks and extra activities not covered by the government funding (this charge is not applicable if topping up sessions by 5 hours or more per week or for children aged under 3 years).
Registration Fee & Deposit
At Cornerstone Nurseries we charge a £75 registration fee. This fee reserves your child’s place, administration fees and includes a Cornerstone Nurseries jumper & polo shirt for your child.
We also provide up-to 3 pre-visits to help your child settle in before their official start date.
A refundable deposit of 2 weeks fee is also required on confirmation of your child’s place, this will be deducted from your final invoice once a month’s written notice is given and the account is up to date.
Invoices for these fees will be emailed to you accordingly. Payments can be made via Bank Transfer or cash, unfortunately we do not accept cheques or card payments. Monthly invoices are to be paid on the 1st of each month in advance.
Financial Support with your Childcare Fees
All children are entitled to 570 hours funding per year of free childcare the term after their 3rd birthday. This can be used as 15 hours per week term time only or the funding can be stretched throughout the year offering 11 hours per week for 51 weeks until the maximum hours have been used.
Working Families may be entitled to additional funding:
Children 9 months+
You may be entitled to 15 hours funding (11 hours per week stretched) from the term after your child turns 9 months. Please apply for this using the link below.
Children 3 years +Â
Every child is entitled to 15 hours funding (11 hours per week stretched) from the term after your child turns 3 years. Working families may also be entitled to a further 15 hours (11 hours stretched). Please apply for this using the link below.
You will be charged for meals (and consumables for over 3 years) on the sessions covered by the funding
Children attending for funded hours only will be charged:
£1.35 per half day £1.80 per full day
This consumables charge does not apply if:
You top up your child’s sessions by 5 hours or more per week or your child is under 3 years old.
