Our classrooms feature open-plan spaces that are spacious and fun, offering children the opportunity to explore mark making, role play, maths, literacy, expressive arts and design, and hands-on, sensory experiences. With free access to resources in areas set up for play and exploration, our classrooms are designed to encourage children’s curiosity and creativity. We also provide quiet comfy zones for reading or rest, ensuring a calming and inspiring learning environment. Our preschool rooms provide a gentle introduction to a school-like environment, helping your child feel confident and prepared for their transition from Nursery to School.

At Cornerstone Day Nursery, we believe in the power of outdoor play to promote healthy development. Our spacious, enclosed outdoor areas offer a variety of engaging activities, including gardening, planting, water play, nature exploration and mud kitchen cooking. These experiences provide ample opportunities for fresh air, physical activity and learning in a stimulating environment.
The garden is a magical place where your little one can run around and explore, learn and grow with their new friends.
One of our most popular features is our spacious ¼-acre garden, complete with a real-life fishing boat!
This magical outdoor space allows your child to run, play, explore and learn alongside new friends. They can climb aboard the fishing boat and let their imaginations soar as they embark on imaginary adventures.
Our garden also hosts our annual Summer Fete and farm visits, providing even more opportunities for fun and learning.
Our large indoor hall space is utlised for music & movement classes
In addition to our beautiful garden, we also have a spacious indoor hall with an interactive whiteboard where the children can participate in activities such as yoga, dance, storytime adventures and music & movement classes.
Throughout the year, we invite families to join us for special events such as Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea, Craft Mornings, and Christmas Performances.
